Daily Schedule:

Our daily schedule, while very flexible, is as follows:

7:00am – Center Opens – Free play

7:30am – AM snack

8:00am – Structured Activities

8:45am – Circle/Music Time

9:00am – Breakfast

9:30am – Structured activities

10:30am – Gross motor play (outside weather permitting)

11:45am – Story time/wash-up for lunch

12:00pm – Lunchtime

12:45pm – Nap-time/Quiet Activities

3:00pm – Afternoon Snack

3:30pm – Gross motor play (outdoor weather permitting)

4:30pm – Structured activities and children’s choice activities

5:30pm – Center closes

Please note: Infants and toddlers will not necessarily follow the same schedule as the older children.  They are not capable of sitting still for circle time, may need a morning nap, etc. Infants are always fed on demand.

Pre-K and Preschool classes offer both AM and PM classes.

Supplies

Parents must supply the following items for their child:

Diapers, wipes, pull-ups, ointments, pacifiers, and bottles.  A small blanket, crib size fitted sheet, small pillow and stuffed animal (optional) for rest time.

A complete change of clothes.

Sunscreen (optional)

All personal belongings should be marked with your child’s name.

Food & Nutrition

All meals will be provided at no extra cost.  Meals will consist of morning snack, breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack.  Menus will e posted on the bulletin board just inside the door.  Copies of the menu are provided to parents upon request.  Cardinal Clubhouse participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and follows USDA guidelines to meet the nutritional needs of the children.

Parents are welcome to bring in purchased treats for the children at any time including birthdays and other special occasions.  Homemade foods are not allowed.
